Meenakshinathan 'Nathan" P. helped a regional utility service provider leverage the power of Microsoft Power BI to deliver enhanced analytics for:
- Outage Management
- Variable Assets Management
- Customer Interaction Management
The team developed Power BI applications and reports based on the data from various internal computer systems and end point devices. The application is designed to handle the transaction data volume of 600,000 customers and over 812,000 end-point devices sharing daily data. Additionally, for the call center analytics, the application analyzed data over daily call volume between 8,000 -13,700 calls routed to ~ 847 agents. The analytics application reports several 100 users.
Our task involved creating automated processes to create detailed access mapping and developing an external analytics and dashboard application to track asset performance for each “tenant”. Having a detailed modern architecture will allow the company to create additional revenue opportunities.
Visvero designed and developed Call Center Analytics application to measure the effectiveness of the service operations as well as track the source of various service calls on a device, substation and circuit level. Our task was to do the move the data warehouse “lift and shift” from the SAP Business Objects and use the similar techniques developed during the Variable Assets Projects to create a Microsoft, Azure, based data Warehouse. The current version of the application takes device data in Business Objects extracted in real-time to Denodo powered Power BI Applications.
